The Galactic Legion is a Sci-fi, Fantasy and Horror costuming club that brings together enthusiasts from all over the world who enjoy celebrating movies through the wearing of various sci-fi and fantasy costumes and armour.

The Galactic Legion prides itself on recreating high quality costumes from characters of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and horror movie Genres and bringing the magic of the movies to the general public.

Our professionalism and dedication to high costuming standards have resulted in us attending some of the largest events ever held in the U.K and also being invited to the upcoming Donington Download Music Festival, the Lord Mayors Parade's in Liverpool and Chester and the Caudwell Charity Ball.

If you would like to become a part of the Legion, you can join without having to own a costume but if you wish to attend any events with us, you should own either a closed or open faced costume that is of a high quality, professional standard.

The Galactic Legion was formed to allow people to enjoy the hobby of costuming, friendships and social gatherings. You must be over 18 to join and therefore are an adult - you are expected to behave like one. Common sense, courtesy and consideration for your fellow members and the club is all we ask.

We will have absolutely zero tolerance for anyone who's only intention is to create any trouble whatsoever, on or off this board, to any member, its staff or the club itself. Anyone trolling the boards or intentionally creating disruption will be removed from the boards.

We are a friendly, costuming community so by registering, you are expressing your wish to become part of this community. We will not tolerate lurkers (people who join but do not post) nor those who do not wish to have any active input in the community.

We ask that all costumes are as screen accurate as possible to the original and are of a high quality.

To access all areas of the board and to gain full membership to the Galactic Legion then photographs of yourself in your costume should be submitted to the legion council.
Ideally photographs should be front shot, rear, left and right sides.

Once a costume has been cleared a Galactic Legion designation will be issued comprising of 5 letters of your own choice eg: GL - ?????- UK.
All designations comprise of GL = Galactic Legion, your letters followed by country of origin.
